Investigation and analysis

In my slide for researching the client, I used multiple different websites contained by the NHS to find every bit of information out about them. Opening my mind up more about what they are like and how they would usually advertise their campaigns as well as finding out their typical audience so I can attract them to have a look at their newer campaign.

For researching into the subject, I included three different advertisements to have an understanding of the difference put into it, also being able to see how limited they are with giving information to the audience. all around they all got to the point rather than dragging it on for too long or not being clear about the topic spoken about. this helps me have an understanding of how I'd structure my leaflet and radio. As well as adding in what type of exercise and diets my age group receive to be given that is suitable for them.

Adding in a more further in deep analysed description of both print and TV advert. Being able to establish the more in depth the adverts have that aren't physically told. With the print advert i had separated each part and fully analysed it to have hidden messages be seen. As well as completely dissecting the TV advert parts by part, having multiple scenes and a description beside them telling what is happening and why for each clip.

In my audience research I had set up a survey to ask my target audience a numerous amount of questions to be able to have a better understanding of what I was working with and what points I was mainly going to focus on later on in my leaflet. Since I managed to gather as much basic information as I could, I was able to, there was some questions I had put together to ask a small group of the audience to be able to hear what they'd have to say about them, this way I'm able to have a more structured plan and more in detailed information on my audience.

Here I have asked a couple of people to answer a various number of questions to have their input on what they think about the subject spoke about. The questions asked can be viewed in the image below. Starting off my focus group by introducing myself as well as introducing the client and campaign my questions are associated with, I had also made sure I'd introduce my two audience so listeners would be able to identify the two. In the focus group I had a focus on asking losing weight questions as that is what my leaflet is about, questions asked were to see if my audience had an understanding on how diets were to work and if this diet could trigger any future issues. From replies I had received from this focus group, i can give a more understanding of how to continue losing weight in a healthy way and explaining what could happen if done with an unhealthy way.

I made sure to clarify with me audience that it is okay with them to ask these questions in case I were to trigger them in any way. vv

After finding out about my audience I created a profile adding in things I received from my audience feedback. I had also added in some apps, music and activities my age group tend to like to do within their spare times.
