Pre-production, Creative Elements

This is my final designs for my leaflet, showing a clear flat plan as well as an analysation of the model that will appear on the front cover. While reading other posters or front covers the NHS had produced, I decided to add on a quote aiming towards the topic spoken about inside (losing weight.) With the addition of the nurse this would hopefully create a feeling of maturity and reassurance from the NHS themselves. I wanted a design that give the feeling of support from the workers, creating this feeling I want my audience to be able to have the courage of asking for help and to go into their doctors and not feel ashamed for doing so.

Looking at the NHS 'better health' tv adverts I had an understanding that their script appeared very repetitive and wanted to do something different, I had chosen a song that has a catchy beat in the background as well as an addition of a catchy first line, this way I hope to be able to intrigue my audience as soon as they hear my advert. Since the NHS had put their mention last i wanted to add it at the start so audiences that are interested into losing weight and not sure how, they'd be able to hear it straight away and listen on wards for help.

Here i have changed a bit of the script, working with just the one instrumental seemed too intimidating and too serious which wasn't what i was looking for in my radio advert. Adding in a more cheerful instrumental could attract more audience as it is upbeat and more warming for the audience.

My inspiration can be seen with a selection of images, this is to have a look at what the dark sides as well as the bright sides of losing weight, seeing the two emotions can help me understand what route I'm wanting to take my audience on. With my leaflet I am wanting to be able to make my audience understand that it is okay to go slow, so for me to understand the two I will be able to create a healthy environment for my audience.
