 CLIENT RESEARCH

Finding out this piece of information so I would have some sort of idea on how I would like to layout my documentary in some similar ways to attract the right audience for me.

SUBJECT RESEARCH

When analysing this documentary, I was able to pick up on camera angles, way certain shots were taken, how to engage with the people being interviewed and how to make the audience stay focused on my work.

WHAT I LEARNED AND DID IT HELP

Gaining more information about my audience really help gather what they'd be looking out for in my documentary, having a clearer understanding how I should approach
them through my documentary.

WHAT WOULD I CHANGE NEXT TIME

Next time I'd probably's change the way I have shot my angles, maybes learn how to fully put it together having a clearer understanding of how to layout a documentary. Also give my self enough time ahead so I am not rushing through as much and will be able to give me time ahead to make sure I have all the clips I'm needing.

FILMING

For filming the interviews I used a studio to create the shadows behind as the two participating didn't want their identity to be fully revealed. I had used a canon camera to record and used my phone to pick up clearer audio since the camera was pretty far away. When filming in the rooms to show the collection both had, the camera wasn't working so it lead us to just use a phone rather than not collecting any footage at all. With this the scenes weren't as good but still did the job (next time I will fix my camera so I am able to get a better picture out of it.) Lastly for the scenery images/videos I had used a mixture of both camera and phone footage as some scenes were taking before the camera was being dodgy.

DRAFTS

In my draft I had wanted a longish intro just to have time to introduce and have enough time to explain to the audience what would be happening during this documentary.
