 CLIENT RESEARCH

Finding out this information to have an idea how they built their company to be so large with audiences so I am able to use most popular cameras and use them for the front of one of my covers.

SUBJECT RESEARCH

With the old designs from products they personally sold so I can gather some inspiration to how they marketed their work.

WHAT I LEARNT AND DID IT HELP?

I learnt more about my audience by creating questions to ask in person and digitally, from having a focus group they were able to ask me questions as well. Learning more about the audience helped me to be able to create a profile of what they seemed to like the most, giving me an easier understanding on how to layout my work.

WHAT WOULD I CHANGE NEXT TIME?

Next time I will give more of a variety of topics for a larger group to chose from so it creates a bigger audience as well as I'll have a wider understanding of what others like.

FILMING

While I was taking pictures, I had left my SD card at home making me having to use my phone which wasn't as bad as I imagined, making it still successful for the outcome. Before I began shooting for the portrait pictures, I allowed my model to see the practice shots so they were able to pick up on what to improve as well as how they were coming out, making the process easier to go through since we both had shared ideas for how to improve each shot. For my animal shots it was quite difficult as they don't know how to follow or to pose for cameras allowing me to take natural photographs of them, giving a sense of realism.

DRAFTS

Here my flat plans for both 'journeys' and 'strawberry', both having pop out colours as well as having that dull white colour to have my work/model/information really stick out more from the rest of the page. Ending up with my audience reading and looking at the main points of the page first.
